This was probably taken in the late 1960s, as there is no sign of the “new” railway station which was completed in 1973.

  • Early 1970s I’d suggest as Road Ten has been built as far as Chequers Bridge Road, the houses at Ditchmore Hall have gone and the multi-storey car park is well under construction. Also, it looks like the ‘Blue Bridge’ over Fairlands Way is there and this was put up in 1971.
