  • Shephall school group I made a mistake not Les brown should be REG. He was a POW for several years having to bale out of his rear turret but was tragedly killed near the end of the war when he was on that terrible march when so many perished

  • I recognise the 2 boys in the photo on the right.The smaller one with glasses was my Uncle George Hemmings & next to George was my Dad John (Jack) Hemmings.
