Alleyne’s School production of “Hamlet” 1964.  It was described in the history of Alleyne’s School, “An innings well played”, by Dorothy De Salis and Richard Stephens (p. 165) as “probably the finest of all the school plays”..

  • I guess it’s difficult to compare productions from different eras, but the Hamlet of 1970 (?), with Alan Smith in the lead role was brilliant. Smith was outstanding.
