Would be very interested to hear if anyone remembers/knew my late grandfather, Brian Abbiss. He started at Kings as an apprentice in 1954, eventually working his way up to higher management- Being made redundant when Kings folded.
Looking to make contact with Tom Lingwoods. I worked in drawing office after completing my apprenticeship

Did anyone work at Geo.W.Kings in the 1980s? Names I remember Dennis Williams( foreman) George Usher (foreman) Shaun Murphy ( night shift foreman) Basil Chalkley (works director). If anyone can recall these people be good to know how they are. Few others cant recall at time of typing this. But if anyone can add their names who worked there from 1984-1989 (as I did) be good to know in how the’re keeping. Many Thanks.
