My Father, Derek Heritage, was the first Methodist Minister at All Saints Church – we moved to Stevenage before the church opened, so church services were held in a school (I forget which one, though I seem to remember it was at the corner of Chells Way and Fairlands way, and has now gone, to be replaced by houses). The photos show the official opening, some flower festivals (I believe two different years, dad has them shown as 1975 and 1976), the carnival float from 1979, social event and coffee after the service from 1976 – and a copy of the notelet that was on sale, AND the original plans!
