I attended Heathcote School from September 1960 to June 1965.
I am trying to recollect the name of our Headmistress who also taught me Biology.
It is very frustrating not to be able to remember as I can recall several other Members of Staff names.
Can anyone help me ?

I think head mistress name was something like.. Mrs Mac’Carther or Mac’Carthy. I remember her well same with Mr Lewis. Mr Jones was caretaker.
I was at Heathcote at that time and remember Mrs Arthur very fondly and Mr Lewis. I was made Head Girl in my final year.

We’ve received a comment from another contributor who remembers a Mrs Arthur from this school as Deputy Head and also a Biology teacher for a while.
