Amateur boxing tournament 1953

I took part in this tournament at the Barclay School Stevenage on Friday 5th June 1953.

If my memory serves me right it  was a cold wet  evening and I was first on with no chance to warm up, and losing points. My opponent was in the same prediciment, I might add . As a  consolation, I was presented with a set of Coronation cake forks, which I still have.
