  • Jim Draper is my dad. We found this photo whilst trying to find some of his old football memorabilia. He later went onto play for Hitchin Town.

  • Ernie (not earnie – I don’t think he “earned” anything from football!) Hornett was my dad. I used to stand behind the goal and give him some jip apparently (I was only 6 or 7) – I only went for the 1/2 time lemonade and crisps! I think he played for Hitchin later on…
