Where are they now!
Photograph of the Collenswood football team that won the North Herts schools football league in 1967/68. They did not lose a game, drawing 1-1 with their nearest rivals Barclay school in the final match at Collenswood with Chris Damski scoring the vital equaliser. The players are: Back row L-R; Tony McClean, Christopher Dick, Roy Mackenzie, Frank Simpson, Alan Wilkinson. Front row L-R; Roy Pembleton, Stephen Collins, Chris Damski, Clive Busby, Charles Kraina, Alan Mackenzie.
The teacher who managed the team was Mr Moore. I am happy to to be contacted by any one who was at Collenswood School at the time and of course any member of the team. If you would like to contact me, please email admin@stevenage.org.uk and the editors will pass on your message.

Well that brings back memories. Thank you Chris for putting that picture on. I would love to know if we are all still alive and kicking. It seems like a lifetime ago. Actually it is. Lol.
Collenswood was a rugby school at the time, and we trained after school. The team was managed by the physics teacher Mr. Harry Moore.
I recall Chris Damski played the
final day with a broken toe, and was a very cultured player.
Great team spirit in the team.
Chris, I was in the same class as Yvonne, one year below you.
Hi there, I was at the school from 1970 – 1974. I would be very interested in photos and people who remember that time.
I played and captained the football and basketball teams
