The Stevenage Society for Local History meets from September to May on the second Monday of the month, at Springfield House, 24 High Street.

Doors open at 7.30pm for an informal chat with the formal meeting starting at 8pm.

  • Can you cast your mind’s back to pre Daneshill House in Danestrete, about 1958 and before. Was Stevenage Development Corp. in a big house in Aston? I’m sure someone will know. And thank you.

    [Yes, Ann, the Stevenage Development Corporation was initially based at Aston House, Aston, which has since been demolished. Ed.]
